Worship at Mt Tabor is understood through traditional Lutheran liturgy with Holy Communion celebrated at every service. We worship at 8:00, 9:15 & 11:00 am every Sunday morning; Sunday School at 10:00 am. We also offer Noon Eucharist each Wednesday at 12 noon, a quiet communion service lasting approximately 25 minutes and fitting well within your lunch break from work. Come taste and see that the Lord is good. All are welcome!

Sing and Celebrate is an after school program held on Wednesdays during the school year, typically September through early May. This children's program includes chapel, crafts, lessons, story telling, and singing for ages 2 years through 5th grade. Pick up from school is available. This program follows the Lexington District Two schedule, and does not meet on early release days. The registration form for Sing and Celebrate can be found on our Home Page.
Vespers at Mt Tabor is held on the 1st Sunday of each month at Sundown (Check the Church Calendar for specific times). It is held in the Church Park and is more contemporary in nature. Join us for campfire worship and Holy Communion. After worship, marshmallows are roasted and fun and fellowship is had with the people of God gathered at Mt Tabor.

Beloved is a new ministry program in the South Carolina Synod aimed at providing a safe and understanding environment for children with developmental and physical disabilities to learn about their part in the Christian family, with an initial emphasis on Christian discipleship, including the Bible, baptism, and communion. This will be done in a whole-family context, with the intent of providing educational and fellowship opportunities for their parents and siblings as well. We meet the 2nd Sunday of each month at 4:00 pm.

At Mt Tabor, we have a very active group of young people in our Youth Ministry who meet regularly. Keep an eye out on our calendar for upcoming youth events.
The quilters of the Church meet every Monday morning and work on quilts that go locally and worldwide to keep God's children warm. to date, the ladies of Mt Tabor have completed close to 1400 quilts by hand, and have sent some of them as far away as Tanzania, Africa.
Mt Tabor is a very musical church and encourages singing at every age as an important part of our worship experience. We have two adult choirs and several children's choirs that we would love for you to be a part of with us.
The Hand Bell Choir is a specialty of Mt Tabor. We have two adult choirs and one children's choir. These choirs range in ability and skill, and help to enhance our worship through music as they share their gifts with our church.
Kids Choirs are a wonderful ministry that encourages our Little Lutherans to develop their musical abilities and gifts. There are several choirs, ranging in ages from 2 years old through high school. All are welcome to join and sing with us.
Musical development is an important ministry at Mt Tabor, if you would like more information about our music instruction, please contact our music director.
Music on the Mount is a free concert series that is offered several times throughout the year. Everyone in the community is welcome to come and join us for these concerts.
We offer kids hand bells for all ages 5 through 8 and work to develop our Little Lutheran's musical talents and skills. This choir usually performs four times a year during our worship services.
